Hi,
I would like to welcome you to the website dedicated to the wives and significant others of Major League Baseball players. As a wife of a member of the San Diego Padres, I share with you the understanding of the unique lifestyle that we all live –the excitement of winning big games, the disappointment of a tough loss, the constant moving and travel, and the important balance between family life and baseball. “Baseball Wives” organization has been created on a model similar to a national organization, with local chapters in each team’s city. As a member of this organization, you can join in public service through events that are proposed by fellow members (for example, the 2007 Spring Training Fashion Show), or you can hold your own charitable events and receive the support of this organization and other wives throughout the country. In addition to the great opportunity for charitable work, this organization will afford you the opportunity to meet wives from other teams, so that being traded won’t be as difficult.
You will have opportunities to socialize during “spa days” in Spring Training or organized charitable trips throughout the year. We are a distinctive group of women from all over the world, but we have one thing in common -- baseball. We have always had a great deal to offer our families and our communities. By working together, we can provide support for one another while benefiting our communities and having fun!
Best,
